The park by our house

We try to take family walks in the evenings. These are from a trip to the park 2 1/2 blocks from our house.

Peek-a-boo.

Fun on the slide.

Are we having fun yet?

Amelia liked the swings the best.

Run for sight

A group of us participated in the Run For Sight in St. Louis in May. The run/walk was to benefit Amelia's vision therapy group called the Delta Gamma Center. ≈

This is Amelia chillin after her long walk she is wearing one of the signs I made for our group.

We ran into Carrie and Trystin at the run. We were neighbors in the PICU at St. John's last year. Trystin is also recovering from meningitis.

Steve, Amelia and Jen by the pond at Union Station.

Amelia, Jen, Carter and Alyssa strolling through the finish line.

The group of walkers. Lou, Jason, Carter, Dan and Alyssa.

St. Louis Zoo

Here are some pictures of Amelia, Heidi Blick and I at the Zoo. Heidi is a friend who frequently babysat for Amelia in St. Louis. Amelia really enjoyed the zoo. We both got dizzy on the merry-go-round but it was fun and she did not like getting splashed by the penguins but I thought it was cute. She does not like to be cold at all:)

Cardinals Game

We got (free) great tickets to a Cardinals game. They were the best seats I have sat in at Busch Stadium. Our great friends Ronnie and Amanda Garcia went with us. We all enjoyed a night out (the Garcia's have 4 kids under the age of 5).

NC Vacation

I know that this is a bit late but I wanted to catch up on some photo posting. We recently (in March) went on a weeks vacation with some of our best friends Dan and Alyssa Reeve. We had a great time. We stayed about 10 feet from the beach and enjoyed great food and drinks, swimming in the ocean (with wet suits) and lots of laughs. The Outer Banks coast was beautiful. Here are some pics, enjoy. If you want better pictures (Alyssa is a real photographer) check out the Reeve's blog at therevesrantings.blogspot.com

It was a bit chilly this day.

The condo we stayed at. Thanks Jones and Smith families.
